Actors Bobby Simha and Reshmi Menon had a child on Tuesday (May 2). The new mother delivered the baby, currently assigned as female, at a private hospital in Chennai. Both mother and child are reportedly recuperating well.

The couple grew close to each other during the filming of Urumeen, a film in which the two were paired with each other. The film released on December 4, 2015. The couple were already engaged by November 2015. They married last year, on April 22.
While rumours of the two breaking up months after their marriage had surfaced, both actors called the reports baseless, and even joked that if they were ever engaged in any kind of “splitting,” it would be for pizza.
Bobby Simha currently has a few films in the pipeline, including Vallavanukku Vallavan, Thiruttu Payale 2, and Karuppan with Vijay Sethupathi.
