Riya Sen has reportedly been roped in to play the lead in a webseries based on the psychological erotic thriller Ragini MMS 2, which starred Sunny Leone. The series will be titled Ragini MMS 2.2 and will air on Ekta Kapoor’s series portal ALT Balaji.
According to a Times of India report, Sen has already begun preparing for the role, and shooting is likely to begin soon. Sen, who was last seen in a short film titled, Lonely Girl – A Psychological Thriller, will play a married woman in the show.

Released in 2014, Ragini MMS 2 had Sunny Leone in the lead. Coupled with sexual innuendos and horror, the film went on to be a hit that year. It was a sequel to the original Ragini MMS film released in 2011.
