The Jodhpur and District Sessions Judge has adjourned hearing of Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching and illegal arms case till July 22.
Indian Express reports that the case against actor Salman Khan, which has been going on for nearly 10 years now, has been pushed to the next available date: July 22. Salman was to have appeared in court on June 14 to verify his bail application, but he failed to make it. The court had then adjourned hearing to July 6, but today further pushed it to July 22.
Indian Express quotes a lawyer, Jitendar Singh Khichi, saying, “Khan has to come for verification of bail bonds before the appellate court as it is a legal procedure. It is not necessary to come tomorrow and Khan may also file an application seeking exemption from personal appearance for tomorrow.”
