Tiger Shroff, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, said that he likes to focus on his character and script than the “padding” around him, referring to other members of cast in his movies.
Speaking about being paired opposite newcomers, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday in Karan Johar’s sequel to Student Of The Year, Tiger said:

“When I work with someone who is my junior, I know exactly what the person is going through. I’ve never felt the need to work with established actresses even though I have had the opportunity to work with the beautiful and fantastic Shraddha Kapoor (Baaghi) and Jacqueline Fernandez (A Flying Jatt). I don’t get involved with the casting at all. I don’t really care about the padding around me. It’s the script and my character that matter.”
While the actor hasn’t clarified his statements – about whom or what he referred to as ‘padding’ – he will next be seen in upcoming male-oriented films like the Hindi version of Spider-Man: Homecoming and the official Hindi remake of Rambo. He also has Baaghi 2 and Munna Michael in the pipeline.
