The Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for the period 2009 – 2014 have been announced. The awards were last announced in 2008, after which they were stopped.
Last year, late TN CM Jayalalitha announced that she’d reinstate the awards from this year. Vishal, president of TFPC, had also said that he’d do his best to make sure the awards are announced this year.
