While there are speculations that music composer Anirudh will be part of Vijay 62, which is to be directed by AR Murugadoss, his fans will have to wait some more for the good news! Apparently, talks are still on, and Anirudh has not been confirmed yet.

According to a source, “Vijay and AR Murugadoss will work together, and the film has been tentatively titled Vijay 62. It is too early to decide the rest of the cast and crew. Though Anirudh is likely to work on the project, considering he scored the music for Kaththi, which featured the same actor-director combination, he has not been signed on as yet.”
Anirudh, currently basking in the success of ‘Thalai Viduthalai’ and ‘Surviva’ from Ajith’s Vivegam, is wrapping up the Vivegam album, which will be launched soon. Meanwhile, the composer is also gearing up for his concert in the US, scheduled in September.
Vijay is yet to wrap up Mersal, for which he is currently shooting in Chennai, while Murugadoss’ Mahesh Babu-starrer Spyder is nearing completion.
