Ka Bodyscapes director Jayan Cherian has received death threats on social media. He is not too bothered by it though and has said that it has all become ‘normal’ now.

Pahlaj Nihalani has refused to certify Ka Bodyscapes. “Nihalani and the CBFC are being unreasonable. They don’t want my film to release,” Ka Bodyscapes’s director Jayan Cherian said.

The movie, based on a romantic relationship between two men, has been submitted for review to the CBFC four times in the past year alone. In all of those attempts, the film did not manage to get a censor certificate.
In its most recent review by the CBFC, the film garnered support from nine members of the board. The rest, however, refused to give the film a certificate.
