Rumours of Oviya walking out of the Bigg Boss house prompted outrage on social media. There were rumours of her attempting suicide with the police reaching the scene. Some suggested that she walked out of the house to seek medical help. However, there is no confirmation from Vijay TV regarding her alleged exit.
A petition was filed at the Madras High Court by Cine Saravanan to stop the airing of the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil immediately. The petitioner claimed that the show portrays the women participants in a vulgar and obscene manner and that reality show hurts sentiments of certain section of people.
Telugu actor Sampoornesh was allegedly fined Rs 16 lakh for breaking cameras in Bigg Boss Telugu, hosted by Junior NTR. The actor has allegedly walked out of the show.
