A far cry from what Salman Khan looked like in Judwaa (1997), 20 years later, Raja and Prem return with Varun Dhawan playing the twins this time. Judwaa 2‘s first look was shared by the actor on the occasion of David Dhawan’s 65th birthday.

Keeping up with the times, the modern-day Raja and Prem look like just another hip, millennial kid dressed in trendy shorts, nerdy glasses, and a hipster hat in tow. The trailer of the film will release on August 21.

Apart from Varun Dhawan, the film also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Taapsee Pannu, Anupam Kher, and Rajpal Yadav. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house, the film is scheduled for a September 29 release.
Action-comedy Judwaa, released in 1997, had Karisma Kapoor and Rambha playing the female leads. The film and its songs went on to be a massive hit, grossing approximately Rs 233.9 million.
While the sequel’s music is composed by Badshah and Tanishk Bagchi, the original film’s music was composed by Anu Malik who made the songs Oonchi Hai Building and East Aur West India Is The Best popular.
