Amitabh Bachchan was not too impressed when questioned about his remuneration recently. He told DC:
“Whether my remuneration graph has seen any changes, you can apply for an RTI to the Income Tax Department and find out for yourself,” he said.
The actor is gearing up to host the ninth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati soon. He said of the experience:

“You may have noticed it too. While some poured water on their heads to cool down, others turned emotional to the extent that they ran in circles on the platform!”
Bachchan also revealed that his family was not too happy when he took up hosting duties initially.
“I remember, owing to certain personal reasons in 2000, when I decided to take up this show, there was not a very positive response from my family members. I decided to go watch the original show abroad. Today, when people from other countries praise our upgraded setting, it makes us all proud.”
