Vijay Devarakonda, who is currently basking under the success of Arjun Reddy, will start working on his next film, which will be directed by Parasuram. Kannada actress Rashmika Madanna of Kirik Party fame has been signed on to play the female lead, which is yet another romantic outing for Vijay.

This project is being bankrolled by Bunny Vaas and presented by Allu Arvind. Earlier, actress Lavanya Tripathi, who is promoting her film, Yuddham Sharanam, with Naga Chaitanya, was roped in as the female lead. Reportedly, she opted out of the film due to date issues and then Rashmika was approached for the role.
Model-turned-actress, Rashmika is engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty, with whom she shared screen space with in Kirik Party.
