Vishal & Team Help Track Administrator Of Movie Piracy Website

Vishal in Thupparivalans press meet, which was held a month ago, said that he is close to curbing piracy and one major person associated with the racket would be caught soon. Gauri Shankar, alleged administrator of Tamil Gun website, was arrested by the Triplicane police on September 12.

Addressing the media, Vishal said, “We have caught a key person involved in movie piracy. He is under investigation now. We will divulge more details later.”

Vishal and his team helped track the alleged administrator. According to an official press statement from the council, “With the help of technical experts, we started tracing the piracy website administrators, we find out about Gauri Shankar, collected details about him and submitted a report to the police and filed a case. We also came to know that these piracy websites people are involved in child pornography, too.  We also got to know about their collaboration with Arumugasamy, a London-based administrator. After police investigation, we will get more details.”

Meanwhile, with the release of Thupparivaalan, directed by Mysskin, Vishal has announced that one rupee from every single ticket price of each and every show, would be collected and donated to farmer’s welfare.

Thupparivaalan has released over 350 screens across Tamil Nadu.
