Kannada film director and Gauri Lankesh’s brother, Indrajit, has issued a legal notice against director AMR Ramesh over the proposal of making a film on the life of the slain journalist, reported Deccan Chronicle.
According to the report, the notice states that Ramesh should refrain from making any film on the life and killing of Gauri.

While the director has condemned the killing, he has also said that he wants to direct a film as he observed some similarities between the killing of Gauri and rationalist MM Kalburgi and leftist leader Govind Panasare.
AMR Ramesh, who is known for making controversial films, had earlier directed a film on Veerappan and his other film Aaspota revolves around the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
