Actress Manorama was hospitalised early this week due to some ‘issues with breathing’. A representative of the actress confirmed that she experienced some difficulty with breathing earlier and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Nungambakkam. She was also found to have some trouble with kidney function and has been under treatment ever since. Her grandson, Dr Rajarajan has been looking after her and reveals that the actress is on the path to recovery. Manorama is in the ICU now, but will be shifted to the normal ward soon.
The actress was looking forward to watching the animated avatar of her former co-star Nagesh in Kochadaiiyaan, her representative tells us. “She is an indomitable and strong woman. She will fight her way back from this and be a part of many more films. But first, she wants to see Nagesh sir on-screen again.”
