Ashwin Kakumanu gave us some interesting information about Megha. The Kalvanae song featured in the film was not the first choice, he said. It was apparently composed only later. “Initially, Ilaiyaraaja sir had composed the track Enna Vendum for that particular scene. But the director felt that it didn’t sync with what he had in mind. So, Raja sir took a break and came back with Kalvanae for us…and it was perfect.” Enna Vendum was not picturised at all, but remains a part of the soundtrack.
Ashwin is currently busy working on the supernatural thriller Zero. His Megha garnered positive reviews from the critics and managed a decent run at the box office.
