Vijay Deverakonda, who is riding high on the phenomenal success of the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, is reportedly set to make his Tamil debut. Anand Shankar will direct the film and it will be bankrolled by Studio Green. The cast is yet to be finalised.

Arjun Reddy is a modern-day retelling of Devdas, will soon be remade in multiple languages. The film is directed by Sandeep Vanga and also stars Shalini Pandey.
Dhruv, actor Vikram’s son, will reprise Vijay Devarakonda’s role in the Tamil version. Bala will be directing it. The film will be produced by E4 Entertainment.
