Netflix original series Sacred Games has a stellar star-cast with Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte.
It is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Vikram Chandra. The posters look intriguing and thrilling. Saif Ali Khan plays a tough cop, while Radhika Apte portrays a starlet and Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the notable gangster Ganesh Gaitonde of the ‘G Gang’.
The eight-episode series will be directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap, and set in the underbelly of Mumbai.
While Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte have ventured in the digital space, this is the first outing for Saif in the digital arena. It will also be Anurag Kashyap’s debut in the digital space.
The series will throw light on Mumbai’s police, businessmen and gangsters nexus and also the ditsy world of glamour and showbiz. Speaking about the series, Kashyap told PTI, “Probably for the first time I’ll be reaching out to the most number of people in my entire career as a filmmaker. I have seen it (TV series) like I’m making a movie for the whole world. I welcome that pressure on me and I want to go with that.”
