The trailer was unveiled by Mammootty. The film is directed and produced by debutant female director Roshni Dinakar. She previously worked as a costume designer for many South Indian movies.

The trailer starts off with the famous Amitabh Bachchan dialogue from Shahenshah: “Rishte mein to hum tumhare baap lagte hai. Naam hai Shahenshah” and enters Prithviraj. It’s revealed that he’s some sort of a film enthusiast trying to make his own film. His dialogues with Manoj K Jayan suggest the same. The film is a romantic comedy with scenes and shots resembling a Karan Johar film. Moreover, the romance unfolds in a European country.

Apart from Prithviraj and Parvathi, Manoj K Jayan, Roger Narayan and Manianpillai Raju are in supporting roles. This is Prithviraj and Parvathy’s second collaboration, they had earlier worked in VS Vimal’s romantic-drama Ennu Ninte Moideen.
