Akhil Akkineni, on the occasion of Ugadi, has announced his next project. Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri and Akhil are collaborating for a new film, something which was speculated weeks ago.

The film is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad, who had also produced Tholi Prema – a success at the box-office. SS Thaman, who had worked on Tholi Prema, has reportedly been signed as composer for this project.
This untitled project marks Akhil’s third project as the lead actor in Telugu cinema.
