Kollywood actor Suriya’s upcoming film with KV Anand had Malayalam actor Mohanlal coming onboard recently. Now the latest reports suggest that Tollywood actor Allu Sirish has bagged a key role in the film. The film will mark the actor’s debut in Tamil.
The film also marks two of South India’s most valuable actors, Suriya and Mohanlal coming together for the first time. A report from the Times of India reads that the team behind the film felt that Mohanlal-Suriya combination would be a perfect choice for the cast. “The team felt that Suriya and Mohanlal will be an interesting combination, and approached the actor. Fans of both these stars can expect a lot of scenes where the two will share screen space.”
However, it is not known if Mohanlal’s character will be playing the antagonist in the film. “Suriya will be playing a character who is protecting something,” said director KV Anand. The heroine for this action thriller which is tentatively titled as Suriya 37 is yet to be confirmed, the report adds.
Now adding more flavour to the cast, Telugu film actor Allu Sirish has joined the team.
