Eros has bagged the release rights of Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain and Sivakarthikeyan’s Rajini Murugan. The production house behind the two films, Thirrupathy Brothers has been in talks with Eros to ink a deal so that the films are released with sufficient publicity.

According to sources, Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, who recently joined Eros as the Director of Creative and Strategy, facilitated this tie up just as she did with Kaththi. Subhash Chandra Bose of Thirrupathy Brothers confirmed the news and added,”We are in the final stages of negotiations and we’re quite confident that Eros will get both Uttama Villain and Rajini Murugan the kind of release they deserve.”
While Uttama Villain is currently in post production, Rajini Murugan is yet to go on the floors. The lavishly budgeted Sivakarthikeyan film is set to start shooting this November.
