A video of a Zomato food delivery partner eating food that was meant to be delivered, has gone viral on social media. It’s been a week and people are debating about it, some in favour of the delivery executive, and some against.
One of them was Sanjana Galrani, sister of actor Nikki Galrani. Sanjana tweeted criticizing the company for firing him after the video went viral. She asked if his hunger was a crime and said he should be given a second chance.
This is the person who hit headlines for eating from parcel of Zomato customer . Now Zomato says he is caught and fired at Madurai
Now the question arises
1) Is hunger a crime
2)Why not he be given chance to reform

3) Guys he just ate food . He did not loot some one’s house in guise of Zomato delivery guy
May be Zomato will have better delivery policy now onwards
But God save this poor chap … His Crime is Hunger , I say give him a #secondchance .— Sanjjanaa galrani❤️ (@sanjjanagalrani) December 12, 2018
Before this, however, the food delivery app had apologized on the delivery person’s behalf, and said he had been fired. They wrote in a note, “We take these kinds of reports extremely seriously and upon thorough investigation, we found that the video was shot in Madurai. The person in the video happened to be a delivery partner on our fleet. We have spoken to him at length – and while we understand that this was a human error in judgment, we have taken him off our platform.”
We take food tampering very seriously.

The company further said that to avoid recurrence of such an event, tamper-proof tapes will soon be introduced: “In our commitment towards mitigating any possibility of tampering with food, Zomato will soon introduce tamper-proof tapes and other precautionary measures.”
Sanjana Galrani was only one among many who felt this was too harsh and that Zomato should not have fired him.
The elites are more outraged by a Zomato delivery guy 'stealing' two spoons of rice from a packet than our political masters stealing crores of our tax money for newspaper ads and other frauds.

Feeling bad about the Zomato delivery guy. Everyone knows how exploited these guys are in India. And there's so much competition that many of these guys can't even afford to sit and have a meal lest they lose one more delivery.

Am I the only one who hopes @Zomato isn't too harsh on the delivery boy? Yes what he did was wrong but it was just one hungry human eating a bit of food. Surely we can find the heart to forgive that

The Zomato delivery chap eating from various orders is depressing. It's what happens when you make people who can't afford a square meal, keep handling mountains of food. All food deliveries should offer 1-2 square meals a day for their delivery people. It's only fair. Great CSR.

A similar incident happened recently when a pizza delivery person met with an accident while trying to deliver on time. But all who spoke up about it on Twitter empathised with the delivery person, unlike now when some are being sarcastic about him losing the job, and others are saying he can be taken back assuming that the experience has taught him a lesson.
To be honest, playing with ones trust is utterly bad. I hope he will take a lesson from this and emerge as a good person. I think @Zomato @zomatocare @ZomatoIN should take this person back. A person learning from mistakes is a good asset.

Zomato and Swiggy pays their delivery people pretty well. His salary was more than what average people earn.
