It was earlier announced that Ram Charan Teja’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, will be dubbed in Tamil. According to latest updates, dubbing work for the film has begun. It will be presented by Prakash Films, and will reportedly have a grand release in Tamil Nadu this February.
The film stars Kiara Advani opposite Ram Charan, with Vivek Oberoi playing the antagonist. The original in Telugu is produced by DVV Danayya under the banner DVV Entertainment. Others in the cast include Prashanth, Sneha, Madhumitha, Mukesh Rishi, JP, Harish Uthaman, Aryan, Rajesh and Ravi Varman.
Talking about the film at a pre-release event, Ram Charan said, “For four years our director Boyapati Srinu worked on the script of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. He wants to deliver a film that the fans will enjoy. And just like lord Ram, my character will have respect and anger. Every human has these two qualities.”
The film released on January 11 and got mediocre reviews. It also joined Rajinikanth’s Petta and Ajith Kumar’s Viswasam to be leaked online despite many measures taken to prevent piracy. The notorious torrent site was warned several times, and according to a report in The Indian Express, the court issued an order to block 12,000 sites to put an end to piracy, but this has had no avail.
