She fell in love with cinema while reading the lived history of a century’s worth of Tamil films penned by the esteemable Theodore Baskaran. Fascinated by cinema as an art and how she was interpreting it. A movie is the love child of the hundreds of people comprising its crew. How does the director’s interpretation of a shot different from the cinematographer’s? Do they have a common ground? But more importantly, how does the audience?
