Rumoured to be dating for almost five years, Brahmastra couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt officially tied the knot on Thursday in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai.
With tight security and several camera lenses zooming in to get a good view of the who’s who of the industry, Kapoor and Bhatt said their vows on Thursday and looked ravishing doing so.
Making it official, in an Instagram post on Thursday, Bhatt wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights, and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.”
The wedding venue was Vastu, the Mumbai apartment block where Kapoor and Bhatt live, and the guest list was mostly family and close friends. The guest list from the groom’s side included Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was dressed in a beautiful white organza saree, Saif Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, and Kapoor’s mother and sister.
