A complaint has been filed against actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who are all set to tie the knot on Thursday, regarding the closure of a road leading to the Chauth Mata temple in view of their wedding, ZEE Rajasthan reported.
A Rajasthan-based advocate has filed the complaint with the District Legal Services Authority about the closure of the road leading to the temple from December 6 to 12 owing to the wedding celebrations of the couple scheduled to take place in Sawai Madhopur district.
The complaint also names the management of the wedding venue, Hotel Six Senses Barwara Fort. Apparently, the hotel is located on the way to the temple and the management has closed the road leading to the temple from December 6 to 12.
In his complaint, advocate Netrabind Singh Jadoun has said that Chauth Mata Temple is a historical temple where several devotees come to attend the daily aarti. He has mentioned that the road being blocked has caused problems for the devotees. The advocate has asked for the route to be made operational again in view of public sentiments.

“Chauth Ka Barwara accommodates the historical temple of Chauth Mata, which is centuries old. Every day, hundreds of devotees visit the temple and offer their prayers. Hotel Six Senses is located on the way to the temple. The hotel manager has closed the road leading to the temple under the supervision of the District Collector from December 6-12. Due to this, devotees are facing a lot of trouble in reaching the temple. For the next six days, the main road leading from Hotel Six Senses to the temple will be completely closed. Keeping in mind the sentiments of the common man and the devotees, the road to the Chauth Mata temple should be opened again,” the complaint stated in Hindi.
The ‘Sangeet’ of Kaif and Kaushal’s wedding will reportedly be held on Tuesday, followed by the ‘Mehendi’ ceremony the next day. On Friday, a special reception will be held after the wedding.
The rumoured couple reached Rajasthan on Monday to begin their wedding celebrations along with their families. Several celebrities were also seen making their way to the city to attend the wedding.
