Actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, who have kept their relationship under wraps for quite some time now, finally got married in a not-so ‘hush-hush’ ceremony on Thursday. Making it official, Kaif and Kaushal both took to Instagram on their wedding day and posted pictures from the ceremony which looked nothing less than a picture out of a grand filmy wedding.
“Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together,” the couple wrote on Instagram. The wedding was a close-knit affair at Rajasthan’s Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur district, with only family and select friends in attendance. Several celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kabir Khan and his wife Mini Mathur were seen making their way to the venue to attend the wedding.
On Saturday, the couple also shared pictures from their Haldi ceremony. While the bride wore an ivory Sabyasachi lehenga, which she paired with floral jewellery, the groom was looking dapper in a white kurta-pyjama and a pink dupatta. For the wedding, Kaif chose to go with Sabyasachi and wore a bright red lehenga with an ornate blouse covered in gold embroidery. For jewellery, she went with a stunning temple style piece.
Kaushal, on the other hand, complimented his bride perfectly and went with an ivory sherwani set complete with a safa.

Sharing pictures of the couple, Sabyasachi’s official handle wrote, “In homage to the groom’s Punjabi roots, her veil is custom-trimmed with handmade kiran in hand-beaten silver electroplated in gold. The lehenga is paired with bespoke bridal jewellery of uncut diamonds in 22k gold detailed with hand strung pearls from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.”
“The groom wore an ivory silk sherwani with intricate marori embroidery and iconic Sabyasachi handcrafted gold plated Bengal Tiger buttons, with a silk kurta and churidar. The shawl is a tussar georgette with a zari marori embroidered pallu and borders. The gold Benarasi silk tissue safa is paired with a handcrafted kilangi and statement necklace studded in emeralds, brilliant cut and rose cut diamonds, quartz and tourmalines in 18k gold from Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery,” the post further stated.
The couple’s reception is said to happen next week and it will be a gala of several known celebrities.
