Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who will soon be seen together in Brahmastra, tied the knot after a five-year-long relationship on Thursday. The couple were married in the midst of friends and family, and looked ethereal doing so. Dressed in white and gold, Kapoor and Bhatt made their relationship official on social media and received congratulatory messages from several members of the Hindi film industry.
Karan Johar, who attended the Mehendi as well as the wedding ceremony, took to social media and wrote, “It’s days like this that we live for, where there is the most beautiful blend of family, love and absolute emotion. Overwhelmed and so full of love in my heart. My darling Alia, this is such a beautiful life step and my love and blessings go with you everywhere. Ranbir! I love you… now and forever! You are now my son in law…badhai ho (congratulations) and here’s to decades of happiness.”
Welcoming Bhatt into the family, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Kapoor’s sister, wrote, “Couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our family! We love you and can’t wait to be a part of this incredible journey you both have embarked on! Welcome to the family my precious girl – But you always were a part of it.”
