A BIG kudos to the technical team of the film. The technically sound team, comprising of cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan, editor T. S. Suresh and the sound design handled by Ron Ethan Yohaan has made the film an audio visual horror feast. The camera movements enhanced with the intense and chilling background score has made even an empty scene frightening. The cuts and effects by T. S. Suresh is laudable, because Maya unlike other films, has used graphics to minimally. Interestingly, the ghost’s face remains unseen till the end. The sound effects in Dolby Atmos has taken the thrills up a few notches, effectively scaring the audience. On the whole, Maya is a rare gem of a horror flick in recent times!
