Kamal Haasan has excelled in the role, no doubt. Be it the stingy man, romance, the doting family head trying to save his family, clear planning, he has proved his mettle as an actor in every facet. If the corrupt policeman, Kalabhavan Mani is intimidating, Asha Sharath, who plays the IG, brings a shiver down the spine. Tea shop owner, MS Bhaskar, father-in-law Delhi Ganesh, and others are good choices for the roles. Gauthami has played her role well but looks too old.
