As usual Kaali Venkat has done a decent job in Raja Manthiri while Kalaiyarasan proves his comic timing, especially in the romantic portions. Two newcomers Shalin and Vaishali are just okay whereas the technical department too has not contributed much to elevate the film. To conclude, Raja Manthiri is an average entertainer and people, who watch village comedies, might find this as a decent watch.
