What’s making the news
Actor Mark Salling, star of the award-winning television series Glee, pleaded guilty to a federal offense of possessing child pornography. The 35-year-old actor also admitting to having 25,000 images of children engaged in sexual conduct. As part of the plea agreement, he is expected to be sentenced to four to seven years in prison.
According to Deadline, the photos were on his laptop and a hard drive and USB flash drive and was discovered by his girlfriend who had reported it to the police.
