The upcoming foodmance movie, Un Samaiyal Arayil, directed by veteran actor Prakash Raj, had a modest, fuss-free promotional event in the city recently. The audio album, featuring Ilaiyaraja’s score and Palani Bharathi’s lyrics, was released by the USA team and received by T Siva of Amma Creations.
Lyricist Palani Bharathi, who has penned four songs for the movie, was all praise for the Isaignani. He said, “I consider my stint with Un Samaiyal Arayil a god-given gift. I feel Isaignani’s tunes have brought my songs to life. It is a great honour to be working with such a legend!”
The project, a re-make of the super-hit Malayalam movie Salt N’ Pepper, features actress Sneha in the lead alongside Prakash Raj. The flick also sees debutante Samyuktha Hornad playing a college girl. The Bangalore-based actress apparently worked really hard to get the nuances of Tamil right and hoped everybody would appreciate her performance onscreen. But Samyuktha needn’t have worried. The audience at the audio launch chuckled appreciatively when she wished them a ‘Iniya Pattani Nailvazhtugal’. The actress then went on to describe her experience on sets.
