Our week began on an energetic note. In an exclusive interview, choreographer Sheriff opened up about making GV Prakash dance; all the films set to hit the theatres were profiled, and the best of celebrity hairstyles catalogued. On Raghuvaran’s death anniversary, we paid tribute to the actor with memorable moments from his career, and fourteen famous cinema moms made it to a special feature. Singer Haricharan’s birthday was also celebrated – with seven of his songs.
Photo-wise, Arya shared the HQ section with Malavika, Mrudhula and Milind Soman. Of the films that released last week, Kallappadam fared marginally better than Thilagar and Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi. Kallappadam was yet another movie within a movie, Thilagar was your standard revenge saga set in Thirunelveli while Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi was a ‘sloppily made road movie’ with a psychopath protagonist.
