The 44th Kerala Film Critics Awards have been announced on Tuesday. According to a report in Onmanorama, actor Nivin Pauly won the Best Actor award for Moothon while Manju Warrier bagged the Best Actress award for Prathi Poovan Kozhi.
The report also stated that Jallikattu swept the award for Best Film while Geethu Mohandas took home the Best Director award for Moothon.
The awards were announced by the President of the Association and Chairman of the Jury Dr George Onakkoor. The members of the jury were Thekkinkad Joseph Balan, Thirumala Dr Aravindan Vallachira, Prof Joseph Mathew Pala, A Chandrasekhar. According to a News18 report, a total of forty films were considered.
According to the Onmanorama report, Mammootty has been selected for the Ruby Jubilee award while veteran director Hariharan has been awarded the Chalachithra Ratnam Award for Outstanding Contribution.

Best Editor: Samjith Muhammad (Lucifer)
