With an ongoing movie with director Anand Balki titled Server Sundaram, the actor also has reportedly signed a movie with director Manikandan of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya fame. Actor Santhanam’s association with Selvaraghavan came as a bolt from the blue to many. While Selvaraghavan is known for his unique and experimental style of films, Santhanam has typecast himself as an actor whose script and acting thrives on insult, misogyny, and sexism. His last movie Dhilluku Dhuddu, was no exception. Meanwhile, Selvaraghavan is currently working on Nenjam Marappathillai starring SJ Suryah and Regina Cassandra.
Santhanam’s current film Server Sundaram is directed by debutant director Anand Balki and produced by Selvakumar. Talking about the movie to ToI, director Anand Balki said, “In the movie, Santhanam’s journey in the food industry is the crux of the plot. It is an out-and-out ‘food’ film. There is hate, love, and revenge and all of that is based on food”. The movie has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

But the show-stealer is easily his movie with a tiger. Directed by Pachaiyappan Raja, the movie will have an Amur Tiger, also known as the Siberian Tiger. The director, who had spent around three years in research of this species hopes to put his research to use in the movie. According to the report, a source close to the movie said, “It will throw light on the need to conserve tiger population”.

The report also added that Santhanam would be adopting a tiger from the Vandalur zoo. “As he is doing a film with a tiger in a crucial role, he felt like adopting one,” the report said. The adoption process is currently underway.
The movie is expected to spend around 4 crores for a Computer Generated (CG) sequence which will last for twelve minutes. The graphics work for the film will be done in China, the US, and Hong Kong.
Amidst all that, there is also news that Santhanam will work with director Manikandan of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya fame. The movie will be produced by Vasan Visual Ventures, which has previously given successful movies like Boss Engira Baskaran, Naan Kadavul and Nimirndhu Nil‘. The movie with Manikandan, is said to have roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja to compose the music.
