Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada will release on 9 September. Director Gautham Menon took to Twitter to announce the news:

The film is currently in the final stages of post-production, and will be certified shortly. “The response to AYM thus far has been unprecedented. Fans and even people of the industry have been very supportive of the film right from the beginning. We want to make sure we fulfill all the expectations. The movie has turned out really well, and we’re very excited to show it to you all, this September,” said Menon’s spokesperson.

The Telugu version of the film – Saahasam Swasaaga Saagipo, with Naga Chaithanya, will also release on the same date. Interestingly, Chaithanya’s Premam, a remake of the Malayalam hit of the same name, is also scheduled to release on 9 September. Trade analysts predict an interesting clash at the Telugu Box Office, if both films intend to follow through on their release plans.
Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada was stalled initially to make way for Gautham Menon’s project with Ajith Kumar. Once Yennai Arindhaal was released, the film was launched again, with Manjima Mohan playing the female lead. With Silambarasan as the male lead, this road trip film has music by A R Rahman and is directed by Gautham Menon.
