Actor Aadhi’s ‘Clap’ Is Being Shot In Elaborate Sets In Hyderabad

Debut director Prithvi Aditya’s sports-based film Clap starring Aadhi Pinnisetty, Akansha Singh and Krisha Kurup in lead roles, commenced its second schedule recently in Hyderabad. The film is being produced by IB Karthikeyan and M Raja Shekar Reddy under the banners Big Print Pictures, PMM Films, and Cuts and Glory Studios.

A huge railway station set worth more than fifty lakhs has been constructed at the Ramoji Film City for a song sequence of the film. The song stars Sigaram Thodu fame Monal Gajjar alongside Aadhi in an Ilaiyaraaja composition choreographed by Dinesh.

“We have started our new schedule in Hyderabad now and it will have racy climax portions shot in athletic stadiums amidst a massive crowd. Right now, we are shooting for a dance number composed by maestro Isaignani Ilayaraja sir. Art director Vairabalan has done a fabulous job erecting a grand set at Ramoji Film City and Dinesh master is giving us an over-the-top spell with Monal Gajjar performing,” said director Prithvi in a press statement.

Clap is simultaneously being filmed in Tamil and Telugu. The bilingual features Nasser, Prakash Raj, Brahmaji and Munishkanth in prominent roles. The cinematography is by Praveen Kumar, who shot to fame for his work in Jiivi and the Star Sports show Mannin Maindhargal. Ilaiyaraja is composing music, Ragul is handling the edit and Vairabalan, art.

The team will reportedly shoot in Hyderabad for a few days and move to Chennai for their third schedule. Certain crucial portions of the film will also be shot at Bangalore.
