Actress Vijayalakshmi has turned lyricist for upcoming movie, Pandigai. The Chennai 28 II actress is said to have written the lyrics for the song, Adiyae, composed by RH Vikram and sung by Nikitha.

The actress has also produced the movie in which her husband, actor Feroz, plays the lead role. “Viji writing poems is not a new thing. She has the habit of penning them down now and then. But she never planned to write lyrics for this film,” said Feroz.
“We went with some leading lyricists, but nothing worked for me. That’s when she said she wanted to try. I was reluctant initially — however, RH Vikram and I liked them right away. The words feel in sync with the tunes,” he said.
