Actress Adah Sharma, who had appeared in a special song in Silambarasan’s Idhu Namma Aalu, will be making her debut as a heroine in Kollywood through the remake of the Telugu film Kshanam which starred Adivi Shesh and herself.
In April, actor Sibiraj had acquired the remake rights of Kshanam. In the Tamil version, he will be essaying the role of Rishi, the protagonist who returns USA to India to find that his ex-girlfriend’s daughter has been kidnapped. Earlier, Sibiraj told Silverscreen that he bought the remake rights as the content was strong and the the film would give him scope to perform more than his ever.

Adivi Sesh, who had also co-written the screenplay of Kshanam, will not be a part of the remake.
