Aditi Prabhudeva is set to star opposite Sathish Ninasam in Brahmachari. The film is reportedly a comedy and will be directed by Chandra Mohan.
Aditi Prabhudeva made her television debut in Gundayana. She then transitioned to feature films by making her debut with the 2017 film Dhairyam. Her turn as the female lead in the romantic drama Parimala was appreciated by the audience.
Although she did not have any releases in 2018, Aditi has four films lined up for release including Bazaar, Singa, Tothapuri and Operation Nakshatra. She is also part of Ranganayaki and Kusthi, scheduled for release next year.
Now, the actress is set to become part of Brahmachari. The movie would mark the second collaboration between producer Uday K Mehta and Sathish Ninasam. The duo had previously collaborated on Love in Mandya. There are rumours that the new movie would be a sequel to their 2014 hit.
However, the director has refuted these claims saying Brahmachari is entirely original and a ‘comedy entertainer.’ The movie comes with the tagline ‘100% virgin.’
Chandra Mohan, who is primarily known for his comedies, has helmed projects like Bombay Mitai and Double Engine in the past. This is going to be the director’s first film with a major actor and producer. He is currently in the process of finalizing the remaining cast and crew of the film.
