She’s known to be extremely picky about her films. After making her presence felt last year in the critically acclaimed ‘Mariyaan’ with Dhanush, actress Parvathi Menon has signed up for Kamal Haasan’s upcoming film ‘Utthama Villain.’

“Yes, I get to share screen space with Kamal Haasan for the first time. I am also doing two films in Malayalam. I don’t want to do mindless films for the sake of quantity. It should challenge me as an actress or I would rather sit at home rather than sign hero-centric films,” clarifies the actress. That’s no idle talk if one goes by her movie list. All the three films she’s done be it ‘Poo,’ ‘Chennaiyil Oru Naal’ or the recent Mariyan,’ have been critically lauded films. Meanwhile she is currently shooting for Anjali Menon’s Malayalam film, ‘Bangalore Days’ with Fahadh Faasil, Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly and Nazriya Nazim and ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’ opposite Prithviraj.
