In the first look poster of Ainthaam Thalaimurai Siddha Vaidya Sigamani, actor Bharath seems quite at home. With an assortment of herbal ingredients in front of him; and portraits of four generations of vaidyars behind, Bharath looks quite the part already. As the name (plus the poster) suggests, the movie revolves around alternate medicine and the actor plays a fifth generation Siddha specialist. Directed by debutant LG Ravichandar, the film features Nandita as the female lead and also includes actors like Thambi Ramaiah, Manobala and Imman Annachi.
Also, actor Bharath has apparently done plenty of homework for his role; visiting Siddha centres in Salem and Kollimalai to study the body language of the healers there.
What’s more? K Balachander was reportedly in splits when the script was narrated to him. The flick, produced by his daughter Pushpa Kandasamy, and Mohan, is slated for release in June.
