Aishwarya Rajesh apologises for her speech at the success meet of her sports film Kanaa directed by Arunraja Kamaraj. She was trolled for saying that many films these days have success meets whether or not they are really successful.
Speaking at the event in Chennai, Aishwarya thanked the press and the Kanaa team for the film’s success. She then said, “I think this was a true success meet, unlike many other films which celebrate whether or not it was successful.”
Right after this, Sivakarthikeyan, the producer of the film, laughed and asked her to get down. The person on sound trolled by playing the song ‘Oru Thendral Puyalagi Varudhey’. She added, “There is nothing wrong in this, I told the truth and that is the fact.”
Over-all the success meet was humorous, but Aishwarya Rajesh’s comments landed her in trouble. With the fun speeches of Sathyaraj and Sivakarthikeyan that went viral, Aishwarya’s speech also triggered many responses from both the industry and others on twitter.
Responding to this, Aishwarya tweeted out an apology recently. She said it was a fun speech, she did not target any film, and didn’t intend to hurt anyone.
