Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan, a film that celebrates the world’s most popular sport, football, has got a new release date. Reportedly a story of change and self-belief, Maidaan will release next year, during the Independence Day weekend on 13 August 2021.
Inspired from a true story, it will showcase the journey of one of the finest coaches that emerged from India, the one who put India on the global map, Syed Abdul Rahim. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhaai Ho, Maidaan also stars National award-winning actress Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh.
