Vinodh, a 23-year-old man from Madurai, has been arrested for making a hoax call to ‘108’ ambulance service. On August 29, the ambulance service received a call about a bomb threat to Ajith’s Thiruvanmiyur residence. A squad was deployed, and the threat was ruled out as a hoax. Based on the number from which the call was made, the Thiruvanmiyur police arrested Vinodh from Madurai. However, Vinodh claimed that he had lost his SIM card a month ago, and is under interrogation.
