Reports were abuzz yesterday stating that actor Ajith Kumar will be directing a short film with National Award-winning actor Appukutty in the lead role. But the actor’s publicist denied the news through his Facebook profile, with the following statement –
“The news on the short film by Ajith sir is absolutely false. It is actually only a stills session with Mr Ajith kumar mantling the responsibility of being a photographer with Mr Sivabalan alias Appu kutty as a model. Images and details will b shared soon. Thank u.”
Now we wait for the media reports to go ballistic with the news that will read ‘Ajith Turns Photographer‘.
Ajith is currently shooting for his next film with director Siruthai Siva. Fondly called as Thala 56, the movie has Ajith, Shruti Haasan and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, alongside Ashwin Kakamanu, Kabir Singh and Soori in supporting roles. Composer Anirudh Ravichander is working on the album of this film which is expected to hit the screens this Deepavali.
