Director H Vinoth’s (Sathuranga Vettai, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai) film with Ajith Kumar that was called Thala 60/ AK60 until yesterday is officially Valimai. It joins the list of Ajith movies that start with the letter V — Vivegam, Visawasam, Veeram and Vedhalam.

The pooja marking the beginning of the film happened today. Valimai will once again see producer Boney Kapoor bankrolling the film after Nerkonda Paarvai.
Speculations are rife that the movie will see Ajith Kumar donning the cop uniform once again after Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal. It is also reported that the actor will have a makeover and will not sport the salt and pepper hairdo. The movie will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
