Kannada actor/director Ravichandran’s younger son Vikram might work with Akshara Haasan in his debut film. According to a New Indian Express report, Akshara is in talks to play the female lead in the Tamil/Kannada bilingual directed by Nagashekhar.
“Talks are still in the initial stages. Like any other director, I am also keen to choose the right cast, and felt Akshara will suit the role,” Nagashekhar told NIE. The film’s scripting is in the final stages.
The film is expected to be shot in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, besides in England, Ireland and Spain. If she comes on board, the film will mark Akshara’s debut in Kannada cinema. The movie will be produced by Kanakapura Srinivas under the banner RS Productions and is expected to go on floors sometime in August.
Akshara, last seen in Laali Ke Shaadi Mein Laddoo, has completed shooting for director Siva’s Vivegam starring Ajith Kumar, Kajal Agarwal and Vivek Oberoi. The film is slated to release in August this year.
