Akshay Kumar To Star In A Biopic On Sanitary Napkin Entrepreneur

Akshay Kumar will portray social entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham in his next film. Directed by Balki, the film will be produced by Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna. A fictionalised portrayal of Muruganantham had appeared in Twinkle Khanna’s new book The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad. Khanna is now set to produce Muruganantham’s biopic.

A source told DNA “It’s the kind of film that will appeal to Twinkle’s sensibilities. It will be directed by R Balki and will star Akshay. The concept is hers, and will be developed by R Balki.”
